Our Founder
Hello, I am the founder of Hi-Q Construction. My name is Nathan Carey. I have been a licensed contractor in San Diego for well over 20 years. I started out doing carpentry in 1998 for other contractors, and quickly began creating artistic designs for kitchens, bathrooms and other important spaces for select clientele. I have been an artist since high school where I won awards and created many pieces that my family still display in their homes. I am not one to brag about these things, and so my talents have often been a bit of secret. In fact, I have just created this website in 2021, after being in business for over 20 years. It is nice to be appreciated for your work, but too many requests can be overwhelming, and I like to focus on quality. That is why I named this company “Hi-Q”.
I obtained my contractor’s license in 2001, the same year that I started my family. My focus has always been to help my clients create a beautiful, comfortable space, within a reasonable budget and timeframe. Share your ideas with me for upgrading, improving, and expanding your living space. Together we can design something wonderful, to make your home the sanctuary you always needed, the happy place you always wanted.
